Alexander Stiehler is Head Longer Term Investment (LTI) themes for UBS
Global Wealth Management, Chief Investment Office (CIO). He joined UBS
at the beginning of 2009, where he has remained a member of CIO’s
equity department and helped build out the LTI offering from scratch.
UBS CIO’s Longer Term Investment themes are based on three pillars:
population growth, aging, and urbanization. Some of CIO’s themes related
to longevity include Aging in comfort, Automation and robotics, Emerging
market healthcare, Genetic therapies, Healthtech, Medical devices,
Oncology, and Smart mobility.
Prior to joining UBS, Alexander Stiehler worked as an equity analyst
covering the renewable energy sector at a German bank’s investment
banking department. Alexander Stiehler is a graduate economist and a
trained financial analyst.
