The Owner and Managing Director of Le Grand Bellevue Gstaad

Daniel Koetser is an entrepreneur, developer and the owner and Managing Director of Le Grand Bellevue Gstaad, Switzerland. Acquiring the hotel in 2012, he fully renovated and repositioned the property; elected Swiss Hotel of the Year in 2022. In 2019 he was listed by Bilanz as one of the 100 most influential business personalities of Switzerland.

Initially in advertising at the Impiric think-tank at Y&R, New York, he became involved in venture capital with CNB Capital. Relocating to Paris, he became Director of Hotel Investments at Atisreal, BNP-Parisbas via SP&Partners; then continued to become Head of Hotels/Hospitality and a Board Member at CBRE (CB Richard Ellis) hotels CEE. In 2008 he became a Partner of WSF Group (Vienna).

Daniel Koetser is the President of the International Advisory Board of Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) and Executive Board Member. He is an Honorary Member of the Commanderie de Bordeaux, and a co-host of the Longevity Investors Conference since its inception.

Swiss and English (with Dutch roots), he was educated at Eton College. He holds a BA Hons in psychology, philosophy and anthropology from Tufts University, and foreign diplomas from Sciences Po and La Sorbonne, (Paris). He is an MBA scholar from the Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland.”
